Usually, we rely on personal recommendations for repairmen and workmen, so we were not sure about relying on the strong Yelp reviews that PCAR had received. We called Leo at PCAR and found out that this was not a big company but was a local outfit with a few employees. Leo was very patient with all of our questions, and he was able to schedule same-day service for our Maytag dryer (which had stopped heating). The tech (Tom) called us an hour before the appointment, just to check in. He showed up right on time. He immediately diagnosed the problem (bad coils) and quoted us a fair price. He carefully disassembled the dryer, replaced the coils, and cleaned out the interior mechanism. (There was a lot of lint, even though we clean out the lint trap every time.) The tech was polite, cheerful, prompt, and competent. We are very satisfied with the repair.
