These guys are crooks and liars! Their advertisement says same day repair, I called with an emergency around 1pm. I tell them I have an emergency and need them today, they take all my information, name, address, phone number, type of refrigerator and the issue. THEN AFTER taking all that information they TELL me they will be at my house the NEXT day sometime around NOON! My fridge and freezer are dead, my food is all spoiling and this tool has the audacity to TELL me when he’ll be here. I say “Yea…. Uh hunh, suuure…” NOTE SARCASM and hung up after telling nty.
Next day rolls around and his tech calls me to CONFIRM and I tell him, no…. my need was EMERGENT, if you couldn’t keep your ads’ promise, I sure as hell wasn’t going to go with you.
Next thing I get is a call by an IRATE man threatening collections and lawsuit! WTF?! This is how you run a business? Come on! I tell him try it and be sued for false claims in collections. He yells and makes threats, then plays a pity card that he’s a burn victim survivor…. I tell him, “Oh yea? I’ve had HIV since I was 12, (back since ’86), AIDS since 2002 and NOW CANCER to boot! He tells me I got your information and call logs and caller ID to prove you owe me, so I’m going to send it to collections! I inform him that if he tries such a foolish move I will take action, first in the form of social media. I tell him I’m going to do this review and he continues the rant, saying he had the call recorded. I told him he’s a liar (intimidation.) I also inform him he has to inform people before recording a call and get their permission, otherwise anything said in it is irrelevant. Not that I said anything other than what was said. I know a con artist when I hear one.
By these actions and behavior alone you MUST be wary of what kind of con they’ll play on you. You don’t know what’s wrong. These guys are liars, so what’s to keep them from lying to you about what’s really wrong with your fridge?
He makes more nonsense claims of how he went to law school… LIAR, then why you doing this shitty job? Were you as bad at that as this?
Threats, and then he calls back and says he’s filing a police report for harassment! Accusing me of calling him back after he called me making nonsensical threats. I’m tempted to sue this piece of….. How do you think you’re going to succeed when you pick on truly disabled people and threaten and try to intimidate them?
