I’m actually updating my review.  I might have misused the word “electrician” in my first review.  I meant to say “repair technician”.  I got a message from owner of this company claiming it’s not his company that came out to  do the diagnostic.  YES!! It was your company and I have an invoice from your company!! Please do not bring in a totally unrelated company to make it seem like it was not your company that did a crappy diagnostic.  I also replied to Yelp that asked me to confirm if it was the company that came out.  Hmmm… You know… I’m not that stupid to do such thing.

I don’t want to give them two stars but here are my reasons why I can’t give them 5 stars. I give one star for  sending out an electrician on a short notice.  I was able to make an appointment over the phone and an electrician was scheduled to come out in two days.  I give another star for being on time.  An electrician arrived on time.  Ok… Here comes the bad part.  I explained it to him what was happening with my electric range and he seemed to get it.  He went to check the electric panel to see if breaker was causing the issues.  He came back and checked the range briefly.  It took him about 20 min to go inside and outside to check same thing…electric panel to range.  I didn’t see him moving the range or attempting to inspect the range throughly.  Everything was very brief and didn’t seem to put any effort in trying to find the cause.  So after 20 min of just going outside to inside of my house he said I had to replace the motherboard.  It was only 2 year old range and he said The range’s motherboard is completely non working condition. It would cost me almost $500 and he would call me to get me the exact amount.  I said ok and paid him $40 for diagnostic fee.  I never got the call following week so I ordered a new range from Bestbuy, thinking it’s more cost effective.  Then a friend of mine highly recommend a different electrician.  So the day before the new range delivery, a new electrician came out to inspect the range.  Guess What!!!! There was nothing wrong with the range!!! What non working motherboard???   He replaced a breaker in the panel and the range started working right away!!!  Wow!! I couldn’t believe what a BS this guy from Pacific Electric was trying to have me believe!!!  I don’t think he checked the breakers and he didn’t freaking know what the hell he was talking about!!!  So I only paid $180 for replacing the breaker and I was able to cancel $900 new range right away!!! I couldn’t believe how much money I was able to save.  Also what a crappy diagnostic this guy came up with!!! My advise is… Get a second opinion.  Don’t just go with this company cuz of good reviews.  It’s your hard earned money!!!!
