Our Bosch dishwasher was showing an error code in the display and refused to start a wash cycle. The first repair service I called was one we had used before for a clothes dryer repair. From the initial call we told them it was a Bosch dishwasher. We had to make several repeat calls and after three days, the tech showed up only to look at the machine and tell us he didn’t work on Bosch brand dishwashers. Grrr.
I called another service that had good reviews in Yelp, but he said he only worked on clothes washers and dryers.
I called Pacific Coast Appliance Repair and Nicole answered. She was friendly and courteous yet professional. She confirmed they worked on Bosch dishwashers. She said Ben could be there that same day, and gave me a three-hour window. She also told me how much the charge would be for the service call, and she collected some info about the problem, and the address of our house, etc.
About 2 hours into the 3-hour window I got a text message from the technician saying he would be here in about 20 minutes. Good to his word, he showed up on time and in about 15 minutes he had the machine running normally. We were lucky and didn’t have wait for parts to be back-ordered from Germany, which is what I had expected. The tech was also friendly and courteous, yet professional and obviously competent.
Overall I was impressed by their responsiveness as well as their communication skills and will definitely use them if we need appliance repairs in the future. I recommend Pacific Coast. Thanks for the smooth and pleasant experience.
